Abstract

The puopose of this study were identify the level of stress, anxiety and anger expression in the clinical setting and identify the relationships between anxiety, anger and stress of nursing students in the clinical setting.
A convenient sample of 170 junior college of nursing students was used for the study.
The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics and Person Correlation Coefficinets by using SPSS/PC program.
The result of this study were summarized as follows:
1.The average stress score in the clinical setting of subjects was 2.99¡¾0.48. The higher level of stress in the clinical setting was 3.35 in domain of personal relationships, 2.99 in domain of ideals and values of nursing care, 2.98 in domain of environment, 2.87 in domain of nursing activity, 2.75 in domain of role.
2.The average anger-out score of anger expression mode was 1.59 and 2.19 in anger-in.
3.The anxiety was not found significantly related to stress of nursing students in the clinical setting (r=0.107).
In the relationship between anxiety and stress in the clinical setting, role were significantly positive correlation.
4.The anger expression was found significantly related to stress of nursing students in the clinical setting (r=-0.180, p<0.05).
In the relationship between anger expression and stress in the clinical setting, environment, role were significantly correlation.
5.The anger-out of anger expression mode was not found significantly related to stress of nursing students in the clinical setting (r=-0.008, p=0.).
6.The anger-in of anger expression mode was found significantly related to stress of nursing students in the clinical setting (r=-0.186, p<0.05).
In the relationship between anger-in of anger expression mode and stress in the clinical setting, environment, role were significantly correlation.
